Firefox asks if you want the ff start page as your home page as part of
an upgrade/re-install.  It defaults to checked and you have to un-check
it to keep your old home page.  One of the few annoyances in the
product.

Go to Tools - Options - General to reset your home page(s) to whatever
they were.  If you open multiple tabs, the easiest thing is to put them
all in 1 folder in your bookmarks and select that folder as your start
page; it'll open each site in the folder in a tab.
