Eileen (small world <G>), Are you trying to get the one machine TO prompt, or all the others NOT TO prompt? -Walden ------------ Walden H Leverich III Tech Software (516) 627-3800 x11 WaldenL@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.TechSoftInc.com Quiquid latine dictum sit altum viditur. I have the spreadsheet stored on a network with all query definitions in the same folder. All computers except 1 prompt to enable or disable the query. I have already tried changing the registry entry HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/OFFICE/9.0/EXCEL/OPTIONS adding the DWORD entry QUERYSECURITY with a value of 0 and still it does not prompt. The machine is running XP Pro Any Suggestions are greatly appreciated. Eileen Keck BlueStar Systems 631-235-4782
