Mike, Not true, no offense, at least not in Outlook. Under User Accounts/Email Settings/Advanced there is an option (off by default) to "Leave a copy of messages on server" and this is with a POP account. Well, for that (me not thinking), don't use POP. If possible, use IMAP. Then you can keep the email on your server, and read it anywhere. You can also do that with OE as well. POP will always download your email, IMAP always keeps it on the server.
