Thanks again

The machine is a fairly elderly desktop - I should imagine pre G3. But it should be able to run an emulator without any problem.

Any one have experience with OS 9.1?

Function keys worked 'out of the box' with OS X. The only issue is with
Apple's Expose, which wants to own F10-F12. Other than that, the
function keys worked fine. Is this on an iBook or PowerBook?

Newly installed OS 9.1????

Nothing to do with me!! An upgrade from OS 8.6 I believe.

I use Mocha all the time on OS X,

Did you have to do anything with the function keys or did they work straight away. The MAc house that installed 9.1 insist that the function keys would have to enabled in both 9.1 and OS X., not just for mocha but also for I.E, and any other MAC software that uses function keys (which is quite a lot, I imagine)

but have
never used OS 9 or earlier. Their web site says that the download .bin
file contains the documentation - you can also send an email to tech
support.

As I said earlier, I couldn't see, at a quick glance, anything in the Mocha help file about this wcich seems to be a Mac rather than a Mocha problem.
