HP Omnibook XE 4100

Hi all!

A friend of mine is selling me a: 

(*) HP Omnibook XE 4100
(*) Celeron processor
(*) 1.2 GHz
(*) 240 Ram
(*) 18.6 GB HD
(*) Windows XP Pro

... Price is $350.00

I have it at home to try it and it is brand new; however, besides having 
DVD and floppy, I want to be able to expand the HD to 80 GB and expand 
RAM.
Will this be possible?  It is worth the investment?
