Booth,

I would politely but strongly point out to them that they f-disked your HD
without checking with you and you are not very happy about that. But that
you could be appeased by them not charging you for that data you need;
something along that line ?

Chuck

Subject: [PCTECH] Ghost files

My motherboard fried. The shop replaced it. In the process they f-disked
my C drive (without asking me) but they say they saved all my data in a new
virtual drive. I look on that drive and I have several .GHS files and one
GHO file.

Now I don't know how to recover them, and they want $60 to recover them for
me.

What are my choices?
