I'm not sure what's up with the display. Have you looked at the Display tab when you open up the Options? I always use full screen.

Also, I found that it helped not to use the auto hide attribute for the task bar - leave it up all the time. But this may have just been me connecting from Win2K to the work XP machine.

One other thing - go to the Experience tab. This can be used to optimize the connection. Over the 'Net I always used the Modem (28.8) setting, as it sent the least stuff over the connection. Since you are local, you could probably use a setting that'd show you the background, etc.

I just wanted to be able to work on my website using Dreamweaver as if I
am in my Home PC. I want to do it from my family room, where my wife and
first born baby boy are at.

Then I can work and be there with them at the same time.

I found that REMOTE CONNECTION feature and is fantastic. What is strange
for me is that after I complete the connection, I can't see in the laptop
all the icons I have in my Home PC, just a couple. Why is this happening?
I do not want to go all the way to START-PROGRAMS-DREAMWEAVER...
