Not much help, but DOS took a cue from Unix some time ago and
incorporated a "tab" path completion feature. Try typing in just a
couple letters of a directory on a cd command and hit the tab key - the
directory name should be filled in for you. You continue this trick
until you are where you want to be.

For instance:

c:\IBMTOOLS\APPS\ACCESS\ICONS

can be found by typing:

cd c:\IB<tab>\<tab>\<tab>\<tab>

In this case, because "APPS" is the first directory in "IBMTOOLS", you
don't even need to type in an "A" (same for the following directories).
Try it, you'll like it!
