Generally speaking this is *NOT* the nature of a VPN. UNLESS, of course, the router for the network you are connecting to does not allow you to access the internet.


Once you establish a VPN connection, that VPN will become your default gateway... all non-local TCP/IP traffic is directed through the default gateway.

There may be a way that you can do fancy things with the 'route' command in Windows to let certain traffic go through the VPN and direct other traffic through your home router.
