Subject: [PCTECH] Drivers

Last week I did a Win 98 reload on a friend's PC. Everything went fine.
The PC is now 99% set up and ready to go except that Windows 98 didn't
recognize the built in video on the motherboard (ironically, circa
1996-98). I've got an install CD that has instructions for Windows 95.
Since the CD is older and a different version of Windows I thought I would
try to download "current" drivers.

I tried the manufacturer's site (Trident Microsystems) and found nothing.
I also tried some of the sites that I used to go to such as Download.com,
Shareware.com, Driverguide.com. I found some matches but nothing great.
When I did a Google search I got the impression that there are more places
now than in the past couple of years that either want you to charge you to
become a member of their driver download service or that charge to provide
a service to find and download the latest drivers (ie driverdetective.com).

Can any of you recommend any good, free, places to find device drivers?
