× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

As Potato Head says in Toy Story, I have taken stupid pills.  When I deleted
many of the messages in various inbox folders, I didn't empty the recycle
bin before running the compact step.  Once I did that it dramatically
reduced the size of my .PST file.

I'm using OfficeXP and my PST file for Outlook is over 900 meg!!  I've
deleted several thousand messages in several inbox folders.  I've also run
the "compact now" feature in File/Data File Management/Settings but the size
of the file has not decreased.  Suggestions?
