Hi Folks, Had one of the salesman query me just now; he purchased a new Compaq desktop PC this weekend with a 17" monitor and all was fine. He fired up IE and went to ESPN's website (so read in more detail about our Colt's mess yesterday.) and it only showed on about 2/3's of the screen with the right hand side "missing". So he went to PC World and ZDNET and it was fine on them. Then he went to Comcast (his cable provider) and it showed even smaller and in the very middle of the screen. And here we go with offshore support. He called Compaq tech support and spoke to 6 different people and said he could basically understand none of them (accents). This is no knock on our international friends ! He is a patient person but ended up hanging up on them. As he noted, the sad thing is, he gives up on tech support and is willing to live with the problem. I am get him the URL for Compaq's web-based tech support because I have never had any problems with them. So does anyone have any idea what would be causing this behavior ? Thanks, Chuck
