Just to make sure we are both on the same page:

To run NetBIOS over TCP/IP:
Start, My Network Places, View network connections, Local Area Connection, 
Properties, Internet Protocol(TCP/IP)Properties, Advanced, Wins, Enable NetBios 
over TCP/IP
