RE: IE Browser 'back' button broken

~~~The 'back' button on my browser no longer works. 

I assume Back Button is still visable? (solve by right click on the toolbar)
have you tried hitting F11 to see if the back button works in full screen
mode?
With the cursor focus on the window in Internet explorer does your Backspace
key work?

There is a MS download to "correct & repair", I am not sure it is available
for 6, would have to check.

I am also guessing that your using XP.


It's easy enough to install an Activex control that might do this.
Menu-->Tools-->internet options-->Temporary internet files-->View
Settings-->View Objects

might reveal what is doing it. There is an option to remove an object you
don't trust.
