Hi Booth -
At the hospital yesterday I noticed the nurses station computers are PCs
with Microsoft operating systems All of the window sessions were DOS. How
difficult would it be for those PCs to be converted to Linux, running DOS?
Linux has at least one DOS emulator, DOSEMU. I've never used it, but based
on the way Linux works, any DOS program that communicates directly with
hardware will almost certainly NOT work with any Linux DOS emulator. If
the nurses' station computers were running running DOS programs in DOS
windows on WinNT or higher, the programs would probably run in DOSEMU.
