Have you tried with the QMGTOOL sftp client?

I'm trying to automate this with native IBMi commands.
I have a CMD that asks for the information that comes in
the FixCentral emails.
I have a CL program that should be signing on to
FixCentral and then it runs Qshell:
QSH CMD('/QOpenSys/usr/bin/touch
/home/sftpuser/batch_sftp_script.sh')

In the file batch_sftp_script.sh:
#!/bin/sh

export DISPLAY=
SSH_ASKPASS=/QOpenSys/etc/openssh_password_scrip
t.sh

lcd /IBMi/V7r4/PTF/AllPTFs2023-06-21

printf "mget 32090668/C/*.*" | sftp
B39X96@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
It's obviously not correct because it doesn't download the
files.

Is there a way I can see a log of exicuted commands?
Do you see a problem in what I have?
Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Gary
