Hi! Thanks, that’s very kind.

Next best thing to do is create an issue on the repo. If you could share a video on the issue of you attempting to connect that might help me understand the issue a little further.

Hopefully it’s something easy :)

Thanks,
Liam Barry

So when you tried to connect, did you see the notification pop up which
shows the connecting progress?

No, I do not see any notification at all.

You saw no notification saying it failed to connect?

No, I recall on Saturday seeing progress on the bottom right but Sunday
(and today) there is nothing.

If it fails to connect: In the output tab, select Code for IBM i from the
drop down and share that was us either here or in a new GitHub issue on the
repo.

I see no output tab.

Thanks,

Rob

I was attempting to try some Python examples

from Club-Seiden over the weekend. On Saturday I had some success and I
got mostly set up but was getting an error running the example that
included bottle and flask. I spent the rest of Saturday on Google trying
to find the solution but gave up figuring I'd try again on Sunday.
On Sunday when I started up VSCODE and clicked on my IBM i server in the
Code for IBM i extension nothing happened. No error or notification I
could see.
I confirmed SSHD was running through ACS which led me to believe the
connection wasn't the issue.
I restarted VSCODE several times and rebooted my PC but still nothing
and I
couldn't find anything on Google.

Does anyone have any ideas so I can at least connect to my IBM i.

Thanks,

Rob
