1. SQL naming is the default when I connect via pyodbc.

4. System naming doesn't save me much if anything. If I use system
naming, that saves me one SQL statement (to adjust the path). But it
costs me an additional setting on the connection (see points 1 and 2
above). I think on balance, I actually find it easier to set the path.
Or even just use qualified names.
