Hi,
I found the "documentation" but it is the style of self-describing documentation that is not really helpful in my opinion.
For example I couldn't get a conversion to work... looking in the documentation it lists S_ and T_ fields, however my T_BIRTHDAY = %Date(S_BIRTHDAY: *ISO) didn't work ? After finally debugging everything, it seems you should use the original field name, ie. BIRTHDAY = %Date(S_BIRTHDAY: *ISO) worked fine.
But also things like what is an "Area" and why do I need it, setting up the environment automatically, when are commands needed, how do I test/reset jobs, what are the templates for Copy/Conversion jobs, ... is all but clearly explained. I also notice that the Rational Plugin still contains several bugs (I often need the 5250 emulator to terminate jobs, properly reset them, ...)
Finally, tables with GENERATED ALWAYS (ie. identity columns) are not supported !?
Kind regards,
Paul

I assume you saw this on the main page - Visit theRapid Fire help
<http://rapid-fire.sourceforge.net/help/>site to find out more about the
plug-in.
I found that to have a lot of information - can you say more about what
you didn't find?
Cheers
Vern

Hi,--
Is anyone using Rapid Fire ( https://rapid-fire.sourceforge.io/index.php ) to speed up database changes ?
I'm looking at the product but the documentation is really minimalistic and not sufficient.
If anyone has some additional notes that he would like to share this would be great.
Kind regards,
Paul
