I am Rakesh Rudra working with a Retail & Supply Chain Product development
company.
We built a web interface (React) for our product using backend server
Node.js-itoolkit.js for english version. We are now planning to expand it
to other supported languages like French, Spanish, German e.t.c.
When I attempted to extract the data using "ProgramCall" (RPGLE), the
special character conversion was going for a toss.
Could you please suggest the best configuration of itoolkit and how to
properly set up the serving job(QSQSRVR) CCSID to extract the details.
I am looking more at the suitable transportation method "odbc/ssh/idb/rest"
for Connection api. Best method to change the QSQSRVR job ccsid for a given
request.
-The approach I followed was to call two programs, first one changes the
job CCSID and the next program serves the actual request. This could be
wrong. Kindly suggest the best mechanism...
