The latest version is

That "check for updates" isn't fully trustworthy.

I did get some certificates that I had to accept at different time as I
was trying to get it to work, but apparently not the right ones. My ACS
is
at 1.1.8.3 Build ID: 9490 (2019-12-02 11:03:14)

ACS 'Check for updates' returned nothing new.

Open source packages appear to have been installed - I have a slew of
packages installed now...

Thanks, again.

Now that you mention it, if memory serves me right (quite possible it
doesn't), this was something that was fixed in the latest release of
ACS.
So in the latest version, it should just ask for trust, like Jon sees.

On my Mac when I did it the first time I seem to recall that it
queried whether I wanted to trust the connection. I said yes and
that was that.

I'll be following the responses you get though in case this happens
to me in the future.

I am trying to get the open source environment set up on our IBM i
(V7.3)
I go into the Open Source Package Management in IBM i Access, enter

thinks
for
a second and returns error message "MSGSSL002 - The IBM i server
application is not trusted for secure sockets connections"

My system verify gets 'success' on all the tests. I have downloaded
the
SSL certificates from DCM and imported them into my key ring on the
MAC
and set them to 'Trust all'. I just can't figure out why it is
saying
it
is not trusted.

Has anyone come across this issue?
