The message is no lie. You've got the connection as the first part of your
query.
Just cat a string in query= not a tuple with the conn and a string.
Then cursor.execute(query).
Tips:
- Learn better how strings work in Python.
- Learn what a tuple is.
- Learn to use the argparse module to get your script arguments.
