I ran into this also. I am wondering if the dependency list in the rpm
needs to include libstdcplusplus.

Try this:

$ yum install libstdcplusplus6

[bash]$node -v

libstdc++.so.6 does exist, but libgcc_s.a does not, I do have
libgcc_s.so.1.

Any ideas?
