In the past, I have compiled Gnu utilities by going back and back and
back through the list of prerequisites until I got a working utility.
That's tiresome work that I don't want to do now on purpose: I want to
see how 5733OPS works with a factory-fresh install. I trust that OPS
will evolve into an environment that will install/build most open source
code 'as-is'.
