Whoa! That is pretty exciting! I had thought there was basically no
"direct" communication from Python (or any other not-full-ILE
participant) back to the caller. But with this API, it's relatively
easy to (ab)use the exit code to return a 4-byte "module-level" value!
Neat!

I have confirmed this works with iSeriesPython as well. (I had to make
some adjustments to Kevin's code because %CHAR is not available on my
system.)

So, for the intended use of exit codes, this is great. For passing
arbitrary data back to the caller, the "old" techniques (like having
Python write to a file and then having the caller read the file) are
still important.

Thanks, Kevin!
