The PASE reference was more about how to function in the environment. Since pretty much all the IBM i OSS has a leg, or more, in PASE, being able to function comfortably in PASE is part of the learning curve. The CHROOT project, Litmis Spaces and, at the very bleeding edge, compiling in PASE takes a basic understanding of the environment. So, I don't get very deep, just a bit wide, in PASE.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a big part of the problem that IBM can document PASE but can't document all the facets of open source
development which is learned by years of wrestling with the compile problems on different platforms and sweating it out?
