I was trying to follow the steps you outlined in the IBMSYSTEMS magazine article from July 2015 titled “How to Contribute to Open-Source Projects” and I have run into an issue.

At his step:

git clone git@xxxxxxxxxxxxx:aaronbartell/ibmidash.git

Cloning into 'ibmidash'...

remote: Counting objects: 18, done.

remote: Compressing objects: 100% (17/17), done.

remote: Total 18 (delta 3), reused 0 (delta 0)

Receiving objects: 100% (18/18), done.

Resolving deltas: 100% (3/3), done.

Checking connectivity... done.

I am getting the following error:

bash-4.3$ chmod 700 ~/.ssh

-bash-4.3$ chmod 600 ~/.ssh/id_rsa

-bash-4.3$ chmod 644 ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub

-bash-4.3$ chmod 644 ~/.ssh/authorized_keys

chmod: /home/rbrownpa/.ssh/authorized_keys: No such file or directory

-bash-4.3$ chmod 644 ~/.ssh/known_hosts

-bash-4.3$ git clone git@xxxxxxxxxxxxx:aaronbartell/ibmidash.git

Cloning into 'ibmidash'...
