Hi Kevin,

Yes, that's currently the way to do it for Redis. For the archives, those
perzl project scripts are stored here:
https://bitbucket.org/litmis/ibmiperzl

If somebody wanted to put together a .lst for the ibmichroot project** then
we could add it to the repo for others to more easily install Redis using
that approach.

Subject: Installing Redis from Perzl

Hello

I was wondering if anyone can offer some insight in the best way to
install Redis.

We need to install redis on one of our LPARS. I have obtained the .dep
file from Perzl and pulled all the RPMs into a single folder. However,
when I run
"rpm -Uvh *.rpm" I get a lot of other missing dependency messages. Is
this expected? Do I have to install all this separately (sh is already
there of course, but obviously unknown to the RPM database).
Before going into dependency hell I wondered if there was a better method?
