We migrated email off of Domino to O365 quite some time ago. Basically a turnover in management decision compounded by some royal flaws in P9's when they first came out.

Sometimes you have to use Power Shell on a Windows server which then communicates to their servers to do some mailbox maintenance tasks. Love it when their servers reply with messages like:

- Informational: The request has been paused temporarily due to unfavorable server health.

- There was also one about disk latency issues but that rolled off the screen
They admit it and say live with it. Your background tasks are going to take low priority to others foreground tasks. There's an article stating this.
Of course two days without access to someone's email (who I read his obit last night in the paper) can be a little distressing.
