It works great for the PTF site. I would have wondered if it didn't work for either site. I did try it on several different browsers before I realized it works great for PTF's. So it is something with that particular site.

Now I have the PTF's for software I don't have yet. ;)

Thought download director wasn't supported in new browsers?

I've always just used HTTP...

Well, IBM has said they are working on it. Been a week now. I suppose I
could put in an order for DVD's. They would likely be here before the
download using HTTP finishes.

Good Day,

I have been trying to download 5770-SS1 from the Entitled Software site
since late last week and it still does not work. A tech support ticket
response said they had similar complaints and were investigating.
Specifically the 'Download Now' button does not work for Download Director.

My question being, has anyone else here tried to download system software
and had this problem. While the HTTP protocol appears to work, I don't have
that kind of time. I tried it on Win 7, 8, and 10, with Firefox and IE. The
Download Director local component appears to be ready when loaded by
itself, and works just fine for PTF's.

Trying to feel better that it's not me or my environment. Not to mention
stalled from loading system software on a new Power 8, since they went
cheap on me and I don't get DVD's with it.

Thanks
Buddy
