And how does that comment help?
Jeff, I'll reach out to the IBMrs I know might have access to a study of
that sort.

IBM used to be able to help a great deal with this kind of information in
the days before they launched IBM Global Systems.

Subject: Cost of ownership IBM i vs Windows Small Business
All,
I'm looking for studies, preferably independent, that compare the cost of
acquisition and ownership of IBM i vs Windows for small business. I have
this:
http://www-01.ibm.com/common/ssi/cgi-bin/ssialias?subtype=WH&infotype=SA&app
name=STGE_PO_SW_USEN&htmlfid=POL03209USEN#loaded
http://tinyurl.com/opky7qv
but it means nothing to the CEO because the smallest company in the study is
15-20 _times_ our size. I want to find one applicable to companies our
size.
Thanks.

The opinions expressed are my own and not necessarily the opinion of my
company. Unless I say so.
