If I'm thinking of the right person, I remember Jack as the guy who kept trying to run WDSC in 64-bit Vista, and we kept trying to dissuade him from it.Jack was a regular on the PC Tech list and occasionally engaged in a couple of the others. He was usually pretty far out on the technology curve, pursuing EGL and C++, for example. Even when disagreeing with you, his commentary was of the genteel sort you see far too little of these days. His participation will be missed.
