Milt used to be on the Midrange-L list - have not seen his presence for awhile, for what it's worth. But if you want to put in the effort, send him a note with your concern, see what he says. His link is probably on their site.

Vern, This particular mail was about SOX specifically: <quote> Hello Peter, .....At the Operating System level wouldn't it be advantageous to be able to show your SOX auditors that if there were any changes to items in key files you could show precisely when the change was executed, who executed the change, what the information looked like before and after the change and how the change was made? If this sounds like a tool your SOX auditors are recommending, please call me for additional details or a free trial of our Stitch-in-Time® OS/400 Database Integrity software product. At the same time, they can, IMO, be over-aggressive in their sales area. They do market a product made in Europe (Tight As a Drum, software change management, I think) that might account for some "confusion" about their market. I did not receive any spam from this person, BTW. --This is the Non-Technical Discussion about the AS400 / iSeries (Midrange-NonTech) mailing listTo post a message email: Midrange-NonTech@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-nontech or email: Midrange-NonTech-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-nontech.
