LOL - that would certainly do it !

We are a pretty small company so...

The ADP Time clocks are leased by the year. So "we" decided PC's would be
better... I am still not convinced. I just saw a demo of the application and
it is a great app and all, but the basic "clock in/clock out" via the
browser is just not as fast as sticking a card in something and I am afraid
that is going to cause a "jam" at our bigger branches...

We have a system where time is usually logged at a hand recognition
device. If the device is not available, users can also enter their time
at a workstation. Basically they enter their employee number - the
program figures out whether it's a punch in or out, lunch, break, etc.
The downside of terminal entry is the possibility of buddy punching -
same problem as with time cards. That's why the biometric device is
nice - you have to chop someone's hand off to buddy punch for them.
