I've probably told this story a few times, but I once had a great time
telling a Solaris/Sybase admin that he'd be administering a product running
a VSAM database over emulated CICS on his Sun Sparc server.  From seeing the
horror in his eyes one would have thought he was witnessing the destruction
of the Hindenberg.

Actually, many, many Linux geeks love the idea of setting it up on the big
iron. It validates their existence.
