This touches on an aspect I've had trouble getting hold of. Generally, creation
and release of viruses/worms can be criminally prosecuted. At times, I classify
some of these spyware products in the same group though they certainly don't
fit classic definitions.

Some remote site has installed software on my machine that's stealing my
resources against my wishes. Seems to me these should be illegal. Yes, I always
run ZoneAlarm, AVG, Ad-Aware, etc., whatever seems the good combination at the
time; but even that takes my personal time in order to download, install,
configure, run.
