~~~Read this story ~~~(http://tv.yahoo.com/news/wwn/20030319/104808600007.html)! A ~~~time traveler from the future has come to win big on the stocks (and ~~~did). ~~~But he got arrested for "insider information". Now that we "could" be ~~~dealing with this, do you think the guy is nuts or is really from the ~~~future? The last paragraph in the article raises a good question. (OPINION ONLY) Wow! Electronic version of the enquirer? The secret to his magic is that he is not acting alone. But why only $800? how many others are on the time machine? On the other hand, someone eventually wins the lotto. The "law of large numbers" at work here? Hmmm...Perhaps a glimpse into the future of what a hacker can provide a trader (with a fake ID) for a 50/50 take in the loot, now that the Patriot Act is law and they can download all sorts of personal and trade secret information into one database. Imagine the gleam in the hacker eye when the high US officials (profiting no doubt from their previous authority of office in our country -which is a crime in itself) assistants to DOD/x-CIA officials get on CNN and tell the world they love to datamine. (The thought of them using Oracle is a little scary to, look up oracle in the dictionary.) Mark Villa in Charleston SC
