On April 21 at Lawson Software's Conference and User Exchange, Dean Hager,
EVP Global Products, announced a renewed commitment to port Lawson
Solutions, version 8.0.x to RPGIV for native support on IBM eServer iSeries
(V5R1) and AS/400 platforms.  The release will be announced 30-90 days in
advance of general availability.  IBM is supporting Lawson in this
commitment with technical resources.  Kim Stevenson, IBM Vice President
Marketing Operations eServer iSeries, joined Dean on stage in a show of
support.  Kim says,
   "Lawson is a valued business partner and one of IBM's select few
   Strategic Alliance partners.  We are excited about their commitment to
   our popular iSeries server and the additional value to our customers."
