It astonishes me how difficult it is to get that simple message through to some people. I suppose it comes from how much they wish it wasn't true so that so much of what they've been saying wouldn't be so very wrong. While there are market segments or niches where it is possible to replace Microsoft products with an alternative, it is not possible for the vast majority of users. This is a very large and complex issue but I would think that just about anybody with the desire could come to understand it.
