Point well taken.  I have always used my initials at work, so it seems
second nature for me to consider them my "name".  But I exalt myself, in the
same manner as ESR and RMS, to think that people would have known who I am,
by the few postings where I have used my name.  Especially if the USA911
list is picking up people from outside the 400 community (although I have
yet to see any of them post).

Well, it isn't just a matter of the email address. People can sign their
emails with their actual name rather than "cyberstud." I have a personal
preference for people using their name rather than a "screen name" or
something.
