Hi gang - IBM has an anti-virus research center which includes a number of papers, including one on how to spot computer virus hoaxes. The same general rules apply to spotting other kinds of hoaxes spread by email. The paper is at: http://www.research.ibm.com/antivirus/SciPapers/Wells/HOWTOSPOT/howtospot3.h tml Everyone should read that paper. As well, before forwarding anything, everyone should an attempt to verify the information. If you can't verify it, don't forward it. Ken Southern Wine and Spirits of Nevada, Inc.
