Titled "The Americans", it was spoken (with background music) by Byron McGregor, a DJ with AM800 radio station CKLW in Detroit/Windor, Ontario. I had always ass-u-med he wrote it himself, but I guess not. It made the top 40, I know. Maybe the top 10.
