The way I upload Excel files is as follows:

1. I define a table on the IBM i. I add 1 dummy row of data.
2. Using ACS, I create a download request to download the data from the IBM
i to Excel, and create the File Definition File.
3. Using ACS, I create an upload request to upload the Excel file to the
IBM i using the FDF.

I've got another spreadsheet, even bigger. There are only two significant columns in the spreadsheet (a record ID and an email address), but the target PF has eight more fields that I'd like to either ignore, or fill with literal values. I have the .fdfx file generated by Mr. Gundermann's step 2; can it be edited to do what I want? I don't see any docs on how to manually create and/or edit .fdfx files.
