We encountered a problem due to an SQL change that was actually in V7R5. We were going straight to R6 from R4 and didn't think to check the V5 Memo.

It is a difference in the way embedded SQL treats RPG indicators used as host variables. Caused major grief until it was resolved. I can supply more details if you need it.

Best advice is to make sure you have read the upgrade docs for _all_ releases between your current and target release.

The subject line says it all: assuming that we have only documented API calls and documented OPM MI instructions, and no hacks, is there anything in V7R6 that would break programs that work fine under V7R3, V7R4, and V7R5?
