Well, you can do it via STRCMTCTL CMTSCOPE(*JOB) to get beyond the activation group. But it is probably more standard in Run SQL Scripts (RSS) to set the "Isolation Level" on the System page of the JDBC Configuration. You would need to read and understand about Commitment Control from the IBM Knowledge Center. It's been quite a while since I did anything using commitment control from RSS so my memory could fail me. That said, I believe you have finer control using STRCMTCTL. Under the covers, it's all the same. Perhaps Birgitta or someone else more knowledgeable can weigh in here. (Sorry to drop your name uninvited, Birgitta--I just always appreciate your input.)
