Re: Datalink fields, was CLOB fields

as I never used them, I don't recall - but tha docs are fairly clear:
   DLVALUE(
       'http://xxx.com/resource-url',
       'URL',
       'Data Link Comment'
   )
This would result in a data-link value for an INSERT or UPDATE.

Does anybody recall anything about datalink fields, and how to plug a
value into one of them from iACS "Run SQL Scripts"?
About all I can remember is their existence, and that they contain URLs.
The doc at

really tell me much that I didn't already remember from 20 years ago.
