Actually, up until recently, I had trouble getting iACS to work at all, or figuring out how to use it.

That's apparently no longer the case. Even running it on a Mac.

"Run SQL Scripts" is actually rather nice. Nicer in some ways than Squirrel. Nicer in other ways than STRSQL. A little counterintuitive figuring out how to deal with a small group of statements to be executed individually, but never as a script, but I managed to dope that out.

Kind of a pity that Sequel Ace is a MySQL-only application, because it's a lot nicer than Squirrel, STRSQL, or iACS.
