Hi

I am slowly migrating from RDi to VSCode and spent much time this week trying to understand what is available in the Plug in IBM i Debug v3.0.3

I have googled and asked multiple AI tools but I am still failing to get a clearish picture.

I have the required PTF's installed and the debug servers running.

In the past I would use RDi where I needed to set service entry points - this allowed me to specify the user profile so I could control my debug session - I don't think this is available in VSCode/IBM Debug V3.0.3 ? Am I best continuing to use RDi for this type of debug session ?

I also previously used the green screen STRDBG or STRSRVJOB for programs that I could manually call or monitor programs that were already running.

Is there any documentation, preferably with examples, of how to use Debug in VSCode

I saw a post that the community on Git hub were very responsive to questions but I am not far enough advance to be able to ask a single question. I have also searched utube but nothing of any advanced nature was found.

Any suggestions or links appreciated.

Thanks

Don
