I agree with using the pending feature. I changed system value QLOGOUTPUT
over a decade ago.
However even those joblogs you need to have GO CLEANUP address them.
Yep, IDK why anyone would want to spool joblogs anymore. After all, if you
want to query a file do you do a CPYF OUTPUT(*PRINT) and then parse that
output or do you query the file directly? Much easier to read joblogs with
the following:
