Any chance there is a local firewall block to the user authentication host server?
I have a similar problem at a customer and we first had to resolve the local firewall issue. The super old iSeries Navigator works, but ACS will not. Weird.

Subject: Can't log in to pub400 with iAcs 1.1.9.11
Folks:
I’ve got a weird problem … I’m trying to log in to pub400 using iAcs, but get an invalid user id or password error every time.
If I telnet into pub400.com <
http://pub400.com/> I can log in fine.
I’m using Eclipse Adoptium Java 25.0.2 on my Silicon Macbook Pro with MacOS 26.4.
Any ideas on what might be going wrong with iACS?
Thanks!
David
